White Desert, Egypt - A Whipped Cream Mirage

After a wonderful fortnight in Egypt I returned with a laptop full of swimwear photos for Nancy Beachwear catalogue 2010.
The real star of the job was the landscape though - The White Desert national park spreads for 3000 square kilometers in the Western Oases region of Egypt. Limestone or "chalk" formations are the remains of microscopic marine animals (!) deposited over 80 million years ago when all the region was under water.
A small hommage to Eugenio Recuenco perhaps, who inspired this year's location.
